MUSC’s successful hospital vegetable garden in the heart of downtown Charleston provides produce to their hospital cafeteria as well as other local non-profit organizations. How can this hospital garden farm model be replicated elsewhere locally or nationally? How can “food nutrition” be better integrated into Medical School curriculum?, Where is the public’s overall understanding of higher nutritional value found in freshly picked and locally-sourced produce? Healthcare stakeholders are invited to come together to discuss these questions and more.
